About Old Man's Hat
Old Man's Hat is a boat-access North Harbour reef off Sydney Heads, where boulders and rock ledges step down into sponge gardens, swim-throughs, and a sandy kelp bottom. The shallower lines hold sea tulips, lacy corals, nudibranchs, and weedy sea dragons, while the sand line adds sharks, rays, and other temperate fish. It is a scenic, structure-first dive rather than a broad open-water cruise.
