About Velika Špilja
Velika Špilja is a boat-access grotto on Vis's southern side, set in a small cove between the Stupišće and Gaće headlands. The cave and nearby wall create a controlled overhead dive with octopuses, spiny lobsters, crayfish, and other shade-loving fish in the rock pockets. Plan it as a guided cave dive, with calmer winter seas giving the easiest conditions.
