Backyard Beach
Shallow island-edge wall with coral bommies
Best for easy reef exploring and calm-water snorkeling or scuba when the island side is settled.
About Backyard Beach
Backyard Beach is a shallow island-edge reef wall with swim-throughs and a sandy base, making it a relaxed Fiji reef for easy exploring. A line of coral bommies sits beyond the wall, so the route feels varied without becoming technical. It suits calm-water scuba, snorkeling, and freediving when the island side is settled, with the best payoff in reef fish, anemones, and coral growth along the wall.
