Cap Béar
Cap Béar is a sheltered tramontana reef dive.
Local operator required
A local club or charter is the practical way to reach the site and choose the best sheltered window.
Boat-access Cap Béar dive with broken rock, coralligenous relief, and a lee-side fallback when tramontana or rough coastal weather hits the coast.
About Cap Béar
Cap Béar is a sheltered Côte Vermeille dive site often used when tramontana wind is up, giving divers a workable option when the coast is rough. The bottom mixes small drop-offs, faults, and coralligenous structure across a relaxed profile, with enough relief to keep the dive interesting. Plan it as a boat dive with a local club, and treat the surface as wind-sensitive even when the underwater side is calm.
