Shallow sculpture site off Sainte-Marguerite Island
Shallow sculpture site off Sainte-Marguerite Island
Écomusée sous-marin is a shallow underwater sculpture site off the south shore of Sainte-Marguerite Island near Cannes. Six large faces sit inside a protected no-mooring zone, so the experience is built around an easy shore or snorkel approach rather than a deep swim. The statues are designed to become artificial reefs, gradually collecting sea life and turning the installation into a living marine exhibit.
