Rocky wall with tunnels, wreckage, and a deeper cavern.
Zakamica is a Cap d'Antibes boat dive built around rocky formations, underwater tunnels, and pockets of wreckage. The site is a serious recreational and technical option for experienced divers who are comfortable with depth, buoyancy control, and occasional surge around wall and tunnel entrances rather than a casual swim-through.
Site Conditions
Safety Notes
Some sections include underwater tunnels; use appropriate training and lighting and maintain good buoyancy to avoid contact with the reef.
Access Restrictions
Experienced divers only; boat entry and good buoyancy are important because of tunnels, wreckage, and formed-sea exposure.
Legal Notes
Follow operator briefing and any local site rules for boat entry, cavern limits, and conservation practices.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
A deeper, experience-oriented dive with rocky structures, wreck elements, and tunnels between about 10 and 30 m.
Freediving
Not a primary freedive site; the tunnels and cavern are better suited to scuba.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is secondary; the main interest is the deeper scuba wall.
