Les Moures
Les Moures: a boat dive for cavity hunting and close-up Mediterranean life.
Local operator required
The site is handled through local Palavas dive operators and is not a self-directed shore entry.
Short boat run, rocky plateau, limited visibility, and a search-style dive built around cavities rather than big scenery.
About Les Moures
Les Moures is a short boat dive off the Palavas coast with a rocky plateau and cavity-rich bottom that rewards slow, careful exploration. It is best for divers who enjoy searching ledges and holes for small life rather than cruising a broad open reef. Look for conger eels, lobsters, comatulas, and nudibranchs tucked into the crevices, and carry a torch so you can check the darker recesses.
