Schweriner Lastensegler (Wreck)
Historic boat-accessed wreck dive in Schweriner See
Boat access from the local base, cold freshwater, and variable visibility make this a measured wreck dive with tight buoyancy discipline.
About Schweriner Lastensegler (Wreck)
Schweriner Lastensegler is a historic wooden cargo glider wreck in the Schweriner See and a classic boat-access wreck dive. The hull is strikingly well preserved and sits flat on the bottom, so the dive is about slow passes around details rather than covering distance. Access runs through the local dive base, and the site rewards patient wreck divers more than casual sightseeing. Expect cold freshwater, variable visibility, and a highly photogenic wreck when conditions cooperate.
