Bogles Ridge is a boat-access reef wall off Jack-A-Dan that reads like a classic Carriacou fish dive. The route starts on the west side of the small island and works along a wall packed with butterfly fish, damselfish, surgeonfish, groupers, wrasse and the occasional lobster or moray eel. It suits beginners in settled conditions, but the exposed edge rewards calm seas and tidy buoyancy more than big ambition.

Reported Depth
3m - 18m
Depth Note
A shallow reef wall with a maximum depth around 18 m; the best route stays close to the structure rather than dropping deep.
Best Season
Winter, especially December through February, usually gives the calmest water and clearest planning window.
Typical Conditions
Calm winter seas, good visibility and a simple wall route make this one of the more approachable north-west Carriacou dives.
Hazards, restrictions, and access requirements.
Safety Notes
Keep buoyancy tight along the wall and stay near the mooring-line route when the sea is moving.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
Follow the mooring line and keep the reef on your right for an easy-to-read wall dive with plenty of small fish.
Freediving
This is not a freedive-first site; the reef wall and boat setup make scuba the better fit.
Snorkeling
Snorkeling is not the main use case here; Bogles Ridge is better treated as a scuba wall than as a snorkel reef.
