Big Bight
Big Bight is a dive site a short trip east of Utila Harbor, recognizable by a beach scattered with large pieces of washed-up coral. The shoreline is bordered at both ends by sharp, jagged lava rocks with steep walls rising from the water. Divers commonly encounter a mix of reef life including sponges, branching corals and anemones, along with crustaceans and reef fish.
