Tanjung Neraka is a short boat ride from the Bacan resort area, with a shallow broken-coral start that turns into a colorful reef dive shaped by current and tide.
About Tanjung Neraka
Tanjung Neraka is a boat-accessed coral reef off Bacan Island in North Maluku, reached by a short run from the resort and dive-center area. The site starts as a shallow marginal reef of broken coral and coral heads, then opens into a richer reef with isolated coral blocks and a lively mix of hard and soft coral, reef fish, and larger pelagic visitors. It is a compact tropical reef dive, but current can change the shape of the dive and can split the site into different usable sections depending on the tide.
