Secca delle Spugne is a deep boat dive off the south side of the Bergeggi Marine Protected Area, built around five rocky outcrops scattered over sand. The site is known for huge sponges, gorgonians, and dense schools of anthias, with eels, lobsters, nudibranchs, and grouper around the rocks. It is an expert dive that rewards good buoyancy, gas planning, and a calm read of the water.
