The Barachin wreck, a battleship from World War II, is situated in Takinoura Bay on Chodo Island. This site is accessible from Chichijima and features a wreck at a depth of approximately 12 meters. The wreck is fragmented and serves as a habitat for various marine species. Divers can observe schools of root fish, large snappers, groupers, and Scorpionfish. Additionally, ribbonfish and cleaning shrimps, including Red-headed Shrimps, can be found in the area.
