Boat reef dive with soft-coral roots and fish schools.
A local boat operator is needed, and the plan can change with current and sea-state calls.
Bitagane is a boat-access reef dive off Atami built around soft-coral-covered roots and a steep drop-off beside the wreck area. Fixed moorings over the main structure let guides work the root tops, edge the drop-off, or link toward the neighboring wreck side when gas and current allow. The site is known for lively water movement, big schools of fish, and plenty of small life tucked into the structure, so it suits confident scuba divers who are comfortable planning around current and changing visibility.

Scuba Diving
Best for confident scuba divers who are comfortable holding position in current and adjusting the route to gas and conditions.
Freediving
Not a practical freedive site. The boat access, current, and structured reef make it a scuba-first dive.
Snorkeling
Not a strong snorkel target. The main features sit below the surface on the roots and drop-off, where current can build.
