Dive Spot Guide•
Le Galia
Le Galia is a current-prone wreck dive north of Molène.
Boat wreck dive with a kelp-covered hull, scattered debris, and very strong currents; best for organized teams comfortable around structure.
About Le Galia
Le Galia is a steamer wreck north of Molène that sank in 1898 and now sits on a kelp-covered rock. The hull still gives the dive shape, with scattered debris, crockery, and an anchor lying outside the wreck in sand. Fish gather around the structure and crustaceans hide in the ribs and openings. Strong current is the main planning factor, so this is a dive for organized teams rather than a casual scenic swim.

Local Intel For Le Galia
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
Wreck dive around the hull and debris field, with the anchor in sand outside the wreck and sheltered pockets for crustaceans.
Freediving
Not a practical freedive target; the wreck sits too deep and the current makes breath-hold planning poor.
Snorkeling
Not a snorkel site; the interesting structure is a scuba wreck and the current adds another layer of difficulty.
