About One Tree Bay
One Tree Bay is a boat-access Tioman site on the north side of the main island with rocks and boulders that slope into a shallow reef. It is usually a relaxed beginner-intermediate dive, with shelter when south winds blow and a mix of groupers, moray eels, shrimps, bumphead parrotfish, and Spanish mackerels around the boulder line. The site rewards slow scanning of the cracks and loose rock, so it works well as a careful, terrain-focused dive.
