Barefoot Thila is an exposed open-ocean thila in the north Maldives, best for experienced divers who are comfortable planning around current. Two adjacent pinnacles create a route of coral blocks, overhangs, and bluewater edges that rewards careful drift timing and slow reef scanning. Soft coral growth, schooling fish, and frequent pelagic encounters make it a strong choice when you want a more demanding reef dive with real payoff.
