Chill beach for hanging out and snorkeling. Some shade under palm trees and you can bring your own chairs/umbrella etc.. To access enter the road to Playa Xpu-Ha, reasonable entrance fee for parking - say you're not going to the beach club, park on the long road leading to the beach, then walk past the beach clubs at Playa Xpu-Ha to the right down to the open beach.

“Had a nice time here. We were based in Tulum for a while and if you've been, you know that it's basically impossible to go to the beach without paying a beach club and it being massively beach-clubbed out vibes. So we drove north, all the way to here in search of somewhere chill. And we found it. Recommended if in Tulum and looking for something more low-key. Note that there is a small beach club area further north of hear at Xpu-Ha, but even that is more laid back and you just walk past it to get to the open beach south at Playa Zuri.”
