This site features a maze of coral and rock ridges around 10 feet high just beyond the mooring, creating many small crevices and hideouts. Farther east, the terrain transitions into more defined lava-flow formations with sand chutes. The structure supports a variety of small life in the cracks and along the ridges, with additional reef fish found as you move toward the lava and sand channels.

The site suits a multi-level profile, starting around the base and gradually spiraling upward between the peaks in a figure-eight route. It is known for varied and lush marine life, including black coral, large schools of sergeant majors, and sand tilefish.
