About Danger Rock
Danger Rock is an exposed pinnacle system just outside the Bay of Islands, with drop-offs, a narrow canyon, swim-throughs, and boulder terrain. The line runs from a shallow high point into much deeper water, so route choice matters and current or surge can make the north side lively. Expect black coral trees, sponges, and big schools of fish rather than a relaxed sightseeing loop.
