Sylvan Park is a shore entry on Lake Pupuke in Auckland, using the public car-park ramp as a simple start into a shallow freshwater dive. The site is less sloped than other parts of the lake, with a broad seagrass belt near shore and deeper water toward the centre, so it suits an easygoing lake dive where visibility and other water users are the main day-of variables. It is a good fit for relaxed lake swimming lines, basic scuba skills, and calm-condition practice rather than current management.
