Boat-only reef with wall-and-plateau routes; best for experienced divers who can manage current, buoyancy, and a committed offshore profile.

About Satoya, Ägypten

Satoya is an exposed offshore reef off Marsa Alam with a long wall-and-plateau profile. The eastern and outer sections are current-fed and reward experienced divers who can stay close to the reef, while the western side is a little more sheltered. Expect dense coral growth, snappers, jacks, and occasional sharks or other larger fish; boat access and sea state matter, and this is not a good night-dive site.
