Boat-only reef off Singapore with corals, sharks and turtles.
Pulau Jong North is a boat-access reef off Singapore’s southern coast on an uninhabited island that is only dived on selected days. The site has a sloping rocky profile with sea fan corals, sponges and reef fish, and it can turn up turtles and juvenile blacktip reef sharks. Strong current and modest visibility are part of the planning, so a guided boat dive is the normal way to run it.

Depth range, seasonality, and planning context.
Depth Note
Keep the profile conservative; it is a deeper offshore reef and the exact ceiling varies by line and tide.
Typical Conditions
Sloping reef, strong-current windows, modest visibility and enough structure to reward slow, buoyancy-quiet diving.
Hazards, restrictions, and access requirements.
Key Hazards
Safety Notes
Use a guide, keep buoyancy tight over the reef, and be ready to call the dive if current or visibility slips.
Access Restrictions
No landing jetty; boat access only and trips run on selected days.
Legal Notes
Treat the island as an undeveloped conservation site and follow operator access rules.
Community notes to help plan your visit.
