A shallow granite reef near the launch area by Simon’s Town in False Bay, offering a relatively sheltered option when southwesterly swell is running. It’s suitable for entry-level divers while still providing varied scenery. The reef spreads across a wide area with mostly low to moderate outcrops punctuated by higher sections, plus gullies, ridges, boulders, small crevices, and some overhangs.
