Bajo de la Vieja
About Bajo de la Vieja
An oval-shaped shoal a short distance off the beaches, with shallow water that makes it suitable for divers of any level. A continuous false ceiling runs around the perimeter of the main rock, and to the west a cluster of large loose boulders forms a maze-like area to explore. Under the ceiling and among the rocks, divers can encounter schooling fish and larger reef predators, with rays often seen cruising the area and eagle rays appearing frequently in summer.
