About El Muellito
This site sits along the Salina reef and is described as suitable for beginner divers. The dive starts around the reef edge and progresses in stepped depth levels, with a separate rock pin standing out in front of the reef that provides shelter for juvenile groupers. Along the reef edge, large schools of sardines patrol, while many fish inhabit the algae- and plant-covered rocks. Parrotfish, octopus, and cuttlefish are also reported here.
