Shallow river loop with winter night conditions.
Current-driven shore dive with modest visibility, best after dark in winter.
About Tiefenau Brücke Worblaufen
Tiefenau Brücke Worblaufen is a shallow river dive in the Aare just below the bridge, where the flow turns the site into a compact loop instead of a long swim. It is best known as a winter night dive, with fish activity after dusk, but the changing runoff, low light, and moving water make it a better fit for divers who are comfortable managing a river rather than a calm lake.

Local Intel For Tiefenau Brücke Worblaufen
Community notes to help plan your visit.
Scuba Diving
Best as a controlled river loop dive where you work the backwater first and then let the current carry you through the bridge area.
Freediving
The shallow profile may look approachable, but the current and low-light setup make it a better scuba than freedive site.
Snorkeling
Not a snorkel-first site; the river flow and night-dive pattern are better handled with scuba.
