About Tuna Wreck

Off Island 5 in the Similan Islands, Tuna Wreck is a deep artificial reef created from a deliberately sunk trawler. It is usually dived by liveaboard boats on a rope descent into a sheltered bay, then explored as a wreck-and-reef combination with soft corals, gorgonians, glassfish, and schooling reef fish. The site is a careful deep dive rather than a casual shallow stop, but it rewards slow, controlled passes and good buoyancy.
