Boat-access off Seven Mile Beach; shallow coral structure, sand patches, and simple navigation suit relaxed dives and snorkelers.
About Jax Dax
Jax Dax is a shallow boat-access reef off Grand Cayman's West Bay, defined by spur-and-groove relief, a standout finger coral, and sandy pockets between coral heads. The route is simple and slow-moving rather than complex, which makes it a good fit for relaxed scuba or snorkel outings, buoyancy practice, and days when you want clear-water reef structure without a deep profile.

Scuba Diving
Relaxed boat-access reef dive with simple navigation, shallow relief, and enough structure to reward slow buoyancy control and macro searching.
Freediving
Shallow enough for experienced freedivers in calm weather, but the site is mainly a relaxed reef dive rather than a freedive-specialty stop.
Snorkeling
The shallow reef top and sand patches can work for snorkelers in calm weather, but stay off the coral fingers and keep the pace slow.
