Shallow coral-mound reef with fish schools and easy diving.
Miniliths is a colorful shallow reef in the Mtwara/Mikindani dive area, built from smaller rocky outcrops and coral mounds. It is known for healthy coral communities and a strong fishy character. Shoals of surgeonfish, fusiliers, unicornfish, groupers, barracuda, trevally, and turtles make it a lively reef that still feels easy to enjoy.
