Overlook Park is a public, day-use area on the south side of Canyon Lake with walking trails and viewpoints. A 1-mile loop trail and a longer path across the dam provide access to the shoreline. Visitors can follow trails down to the lake, where several unofficial areas are used for swimming and cooling off.
