Sand Key Lighthouse
About Sand Key Lighthouse
Sand Key is a Sanctuary Preservation Area that was once a separate island but has been reduced to a small patch of sand encircled by a coral reef. The sandy bottom is a distinctive feature compared with many other Florida coral reefs. It’s described as a good spot for both diving and snorkeling, with typical Caribbean reef life on the surrounding reef.
