Getting There

Getting Around

In-town moves are by foot or inexpensive taxis. For intercity links, Go Bus and East Delta run Cairo-Dahab and Sharm-Dahab routes; buy online or at stations.

Entry Requirements

Many nationals can obtain a free Sinai-only permission stamp for up to 14-15 days when arriving directly into South Sinai airports. For wider travel or longer stays, a USD $25 visa on arrival or the official e-Visa is typical. Always check current rules for your passport at the official portal and your government’s travel site.

Gear Logistics Checklist

Shops provide 12 L aluminum tanks, DIN and yoke valves, nitrox at many centers, and sturdy shore-entry ladders at popular bays. Wetsuit guidance: 3 mm in summer, 5 mm with hood in winter. Bring a wind layer for surface intervals.
