Most international visitors fly to Ruder Boskovic Airport (DBV), roughly 23 km from Dubrovnik. The official airport guidance places the road transfer at about 30 to 35 minutes in normal conditions, with up to 1 hour sensible in summer traffic. Official shuttles connect the airport with Dubrovnik, and taxis, pre-booked transfers, and selected public buses also operate.
Elafiti access starts mainly at Gruz port. Jadrolinija passenger line 807 runs year-round between Dubrovnik, Kolocep, Lopud, and Sudurad on Sipan. A second route serves Dubrovnik, Lopud, and Sipan. Timetables change by season, and operational notices can alter a day's pattern, so plan from the current official schedule rather than a saved blog timetable.
Dubrovnik's Old City is pedestrian-only. Libertas buses connect Pile with Gruz, Lapad, Babin Kuk, the hospital, and outer neighborhoods; buy before boarding when possible and verify the current timetable.
