Remote Fiji reef adventure where manta rays, passages and village-run conservation shape the trip

Most international travelers enter Fiji through Nadi International Airport, then connect by Fiji Link domestic flight to Vunisea Airport on Kadavu. Some routings also work through Suva's Nausori Airport, especially if combining Kadavu with the capital or a ferry. Resorts normally meet guests at KDV and complete the trip by vehicle, small boat or both. Ferry service from Suva to Vunisea and Kavala Bay is a local alternative, but schedules are limited, cargo-oriented and weather sensitive. For Kokomo and some luxury stays, private air or seaplane-style transfers may be part of the package.
Kadavu has limited roads and no normal rideshare ecosystem. Around Vunisea you may find local taxis or resort vehicles, but many resorts are reached by boat and most daily activity transport is arranged by the accommodation.
