Shoal Bay Reef is one of Anguilla’s classic reef-and-snorkel sites, with a broad shallow plateau that rolls over into a steeper reef edge and sandy base. The route is easy to read, so divers can wander the ledges, holes, and overhangs without a complicated profile, while snorkelers can stay close to the inshore reef. It works best on calm days, when the outer edge is easier to manage. Expect stingrays, eels, lobster, crayfish, and other small reef life around the structure.
