Cod Hole is a relaxed boat dive off Port Macquarie built around two coral bommies joined by a natural arch. It rewards a slow circuit through the arch, the bommie tops, and the scattered reef around them, with soft coral, sponge cover, and plenty of small life in the cracks and overhangs. The site suits beginner-friendly scuba and especially macro photography when conditions are settled.
