About Old Fort

Old Fort is a shallow drift dive off Barbados' Carlisle Bay side, set around the remains of a historic fort and scattered artifacts on a sandy bottom. The route mixes coral boulders, sponges, and macro-rich patches, with cleaner shrimp, goatfish, grunts, barracuda, and other small reef fish moving through the structure. It is best done by boat with a guide, since conditions are usually calm but still drift-oriented and visibility can change.
