This site is an artificial reef created by deploying the Kwarcit Wreck (Boris) as part of a project to rebuild marine habitat. It was installed in January 2006 and is described as the first artificial reef in the Cape Verde archipelago. Divers may encounter species such as royal spiny lobster, nudibranchs, African hind, Guinean grunt, and whale shark.
