A steep underwater wall extends from the cape, with a distinct hump on the tip of the extension located roughly 50 m from shore. The walls descend beyond 50 m, with the deepest peak around 45 m. Marine life highlights include rare dog shark eggs, large scorpionfish, hunting moray eels, numerous spiny lobsters, and deep-sea fish.
