About Østerstrand
Østerstrand is Fredericia's main city beach on the Little Belt, with a broad sandy entry, the circular bridge, and a shallow nearshore line that works well for easy shore dives and snorkel practice. The beach has toilets, showers, changing rooms, parking, seating, fire pits, and a beach cafe. Summer lifeguards and accessible bathing features make it a simple logistics site, but wind and Little Belt flow can still tighten conditions outside the main strip.

Access is from Lundingsvej or Strandstien. Dogs must stay on a leash from 1 April to 30 September, and parking on the rampart lawns is not allowed.
