Ras Eiro is a cape off Arta Beach in the Gulf of Tadjourah where divers come for a sheltered reef with easy boat access and a mix of shallow coral gardens and deeper edges. The site is known for coral and anemone cover, plus regular sightings of groupers, morays, turtles, and seasonal whale sharks. Currents are usually weak, but plankton can thin visibility, so timing matters if you want the clearest water.
