A sheltered Marsa Alam bay with seagrass, coral, and canyon-like terrain.
Marsa Fekera is a sheltered bay south of Marsa Alam with a seagrass center, a large coral garden on the southern side, and canyon-like formations that keep the profile varied without making it a hard site to use. It suits relaxed shore diving and snorkeling on calm days, with standout wildlife that can include turtles, dugongs, rays, and seahorses.
Safety Notes
Stay aware of the seagrass in the middle of the bay, give the southern coral and canyon side room, and use the calmest entry window you can.
Access Restrictions
Best used from shore in calm sea-state; rougher days make the bay entry less pleasant.
Legal Notes
Follow local Marsa Alam shoreline access guidance and any resort or conservation rules that apply to the bay.

Freediving
Freediving can work in the shallow bay, but the southern structure is better as an easy scuba or snorkel outing.
