Lavezzi Citta' delle cernie is a classic Bonifacio boat dive on a granite secca where the wildlife is the point: big groupers, schooling fish, and healthy gorgonian cover. The rock rises fast from surrounding depth, so the dive rewards controlled buoyancy and a clean descent more than casual sightseeing. It is a protected-reserve outing, best approached with a local operator who can pick the day around sea and wind. Expect a real mid-range dive rather than a beach entry.
