About le Chaouen - Île du Planier
Le Chaouen is an iconic wreck dive off Marseille's Île du Planier, where a cargo ship rests on an offshore slope and gives divers a broad profile to explore in stages. The dive feels like a classic Mediterranean wreck plan: boat access, a measured pace, and enough structure to reward calm buoyancy rather than a rushed scenic drop. The wreck's history, shape, and marine coating make it one of the city's signature dives.
