Am Alten Hotel is a sheltered Werbellinsee shore dive named for the old prefabricated building across the road. After a simple shore entry, the dive starts in a plant-filled shallows, crosses a shell-rich edge, and then drops away gradually, so the route is easy to read and comfortable for a calm freshwater swim. Winter and spring can add floating shrimp, freshwater fish, and catfish, which gives the site a clear seasonal rhythm.
