About This Dive Spot

Agia Matrona is an 85 m cargo-ship wreck that sank in 1983 and now lies on its left side in excellent condition. The wreck spans a depth range from about 23 m down to 55 m. The surrounding seabed is sandy with patches of Poseidonia seagrass. A reef sits next to the wreck, with scattered broken sections of the ship around it.
