Whibbles Reef
About Whibbles Reef
A deep-water reef featuring hard corals, large sea plumes, and broad sand patches and valleys. The reef top is around 17 m and it slopes down into much deeper water. The depth attracts larger pelagic fish, and when conditions allow, smaller reef creatures can also be found around the sand and coral areas. In July and August, adult male Quillfinn blennies may be seen displaying in the sand.
