Le Formichine
About Le Formichine
Off the island’s north tip, this shoal outcropping sits about 300 m offshore and is reached by a short boat ride. The dive is typically done from the boat using a descent line, starting into the current and then working along the wall in a clockwise direction. It’s described as a very colorful site, with wall sections covered in red sponges and parazoanthus and plenty of fish life including groupers, moray eels, and a resident school of barracuda.
