The Asahi 16 is a gravel transport shipwreck lying underwater split into two sections. Its large hull sits in sandy surroundings, and descent ropes at both ends allow divers to explore the wreck from different entry points. The wreck has become a fish habitat, with a winch near the bow drawing schools of colorful fish. Soft corals grow along the hull and the site is described as suitable for both wide-angle and macro photography.
